Looking back at the 2026 edition of Les Essentiels ✨
What an incredible moment we have just experienced during this new edition of Les Essentiels in Megève.
Over the course of two days, this 11th edition brought together a passionate community around what makes the strength of our discipline: sharing experiences, knowledge transmission, and exchanges between orthodontists and maxillofacial surgeons.
With more than 240 participants, this edition once again confirms the enthusiasm and commitment of the entire community for this event, which has become a must-attend gathering.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to each participant for their presence, their curiosity, and the quality of the discussions that animated these two days.
The Masterclasses were a great success and provided valuable moments for learning and discussion:
🔹 Dr Julien Davrou Masterclass, “Bone grafting in orthognathic surgery: from precise indications to promising perspectives”, brought together more than 34 participants, highlighting the growing interest in these approaches and in sharing clinical experience.
🔹 The Masterclass “Move My Bone Base”, led by Dr Mathieu Laurentjoye, together with Dr Camille Lacaule and Ms Dorine Moya Gracia, gathered 31 participants for a rich, practical, and interactive clinical immersion.

Through their presentations, feedback, and clinical perspectives, they delivered fascinating, inspiring, and complementary lectures, perfectly illustrating the spirit of Les Essentiels: bringing together expertise to advance practices for the benefit of patients.
A big thank you also to the presidents of this edition, Dr Sébastien Nicolas and Dr Antoine Delforge, for their commitment and involvement in building this ambitious scientific program, as well as to our four moderators who supported the speakers on stage: Dr Laure Frison, Dr Raphaël Filippi, Dr Paul Cresseaux, and Prof Jean-Baptiste Charrier.
Beyond the record attendance, we are particularly pleased to see that the satisfaction rate from our post-event survey is extremely positive, confirming the relevance of the program, the quality of the presentations, and the unique atmosphere that characterizes Les Essentiels.
These two days once again demonstrated that Les Essentiels are much more than a congress: it is a moment for meeting, reflection, and collective progress for the entire community of orthodontists and surgeons.
