BIOBank Allogenic Bone Powders

Banner_Dental Range_BIOBank Regeneration

Due to the exclusive Supercrit® treatment process, BIOBank allogenic bone powders are highly hydrophilic

As such, after rehydration, the granules cohere to one another and are easily applied to the graft site. Check out the Supercrit® process and its benefits.

THE RANGE

BIOBank allogenic bone powder is available in two forms:

  • The cancellous powder composed of 100% cancellous bone particles with two granule sizes: ‘S’, meaning 0.5 mm, or ‘L’, meaning 1 mm
  • The cortico-cancellous powder composed of 50% cancellous bone particles and 50% cortical bone particles for slower resorption available only in granule size ‘S’

These powders are available come in vials or pre-filled syringes (except for cancellous powders in granule size ‘L’).

INDICATIONS

BIOBank bone powders treated with the Supercrit® process are indicated for:

  • Peri-implant filling
  • Post-extraction filling
  • Cystic cavity filling
  • Filling of angular lesions associated with periodontal diseases
  • Sinus lift filling
  • Augmentation of bone volume by guided bone regeneration

USE

BIOBank allogenic bone powder vial

The bone powder in vials can be rehydrated directly in its container with a sterile 0.9% sodium chloride solution, which promotes the cohesion of powder granules and facilitates manipulations.

The syringe format allows for aseptic transfer of a sterile 0.9% sodium chloride solution, by means of the luer-lock connector provided. Ideally, allow a contact time of several minutes to optimise the hold of the graft.

TRACEABILITY OF ALLOGENIC GRAFTS

Each product package contains the following sheets:

  • Graft identity sheet = to be filed in the patient’s medical record
  • Implant sheet = to be sent duly completed and signed to BIOBank
