BIOBank range of allogeneic grafts

Orthognathic surgery aims to correct jaw position abnormalities, whether congenital, traumatic, or related to growth disorders. In some cases, simple bone mobilization is not enough: bone grafts are needed to fill residual spaces, improve healing, and enhance the stability and aesthetics of the results.

In addition to the range of allogeneic bone powders and granules, geometric shapes can be used to fill the spaces created by bone valve displacement and reinforce stability.

CORTICO-SPONGY BONE PLATES

BIOBank cortico-cancellous bone plates

BIOBank cortical-cancellous bone grafts treated with supercritical CO2 can be used for apposition grafts on atrophic ridges. They are available in two sizes:

  • 15 x 10 x 4 mm
  • 22 x 12 x 4 mm

CORTICAL BLADES

BIOBank allogenic cortical bone strip

Thanks to their mechanical strength comparable to fresh bone, BIOBank cortical bone blades offer the possibility of performing 2D or 3D reconstructions using the formwork technique when combined with cancellous and/or corticocancellous bone powders. They are available in two sizes:

  • 12 x 10 mm
  • 18 x 10 mm

SPONGY BLOCKS

BIOBank allogenic cancellous bone block

Filling osteotomies.

Available sizes:

  • 20 x 10 x 10 mm
  • 30 x 20 x 10 mm

OSTEOTOMY CORNERS

Wedges are used in cases of osteotomy filling. The range consists of:

  • Bone wedge 30x30x6 mm – 6°
  • 30x30x8 mm bone wedge – 8°
  • 30x30x10 mm bone wedge – 10°
  • 30x30x12 mm bone wedge -12°
  • 30x30x14 mm bone wedge – 14°

USE

After rehydration for approximately 10 minutes in a sterile 0.9% saline solution, BIOBank bone grafts regain their natural elasticity, making them easier to shape and adapt to the graft site.

TRACABILITE

Each product package contains the following forms:

  • Graft identification form To be filed in the patient’s medical record
  • Implantation form To be returned, duly completed and signed, to BIOBank
