BIOBank allograft

BIOBank bone grafts are derived from human femoral heads harvested exclusively in France and only from living donors by orthopaedic surgeons during hip replacement surgery. Donors are selected based on strict compliance with health and safety regulations, clinical criteria recommended by the French Biomedicine Agency, and regulatory serological criteria.

The femoral heads are then transformed into viro-inactivated and sterile bone grafts using our exclusive Supercrit® process! This process is the only one that preserves the mineral and collagen structure of the bone, reduces the residual lipid content to less than 0.1% and gives the grafts the same mechanical strength properties as native bone (Mechanical Strength Study by Dr VASTEL).
