Latest generation drills

The protocol can be adapted very precisely to different bone densities. The tapered cylindrical profile allows drills to be centred in the first third of the shaft made by the previous drill, thereby providing perfect stability.

The ULTIMATE protocol is specially designed for the insertion of In-Kone® UNIVERSAL, In-Kone® PRIMO, 3.0 Implant and twinKon® implants.

Validated clinically by a multi-centre team of dental surgeons, the ULTIMATE protocol can be adapted to all types of bone density.

Dual colour drill_Ultimate Surgery Kit

The drills have a dual colour code based on the colour code indications on the ULTIMATE Surgery Kit so that final drilling can be defined precisely according to the bone density of the host site and implant diameter. Primary implant stability is therefore reproducible.
Homothetic drill_Ultimate Surgery Kit

The homothetic shape of the drills which matches that of the implants ensures uniform distribution of the primary stability over the whole of the active surface of the implant right from the initial healing phase.

The tapered cylindrical drills have a double edge providing effective cutting in two planes. Not only does this design help to centre the drilling axis in the shaft, but it also crucially gives the practitioner constant suction-free control of the progress of the drill in the bone, without putting excessive pressure on the head of the contra-angle. The drill works with very little resistance and minimal heating.
Apical grooves of a bone removal drill_ULTIMATE Surgery Kit

The 4 helical grooves in the drills provide high-volume effective removal of bone shavings without a ‘clogging’ effect. The preparation is precise, and initial close contact between the host site and the implant is promoted.
Penetration drill_Ultimate Surgery Kit

The open point angle (120°) of the final drills reduces apical over-drilling. This characteristic will be useful when inserting implants close to anatomical obstacles. The feeling of control over drilling depth when reaming is more intuitive.
Drill with anti-reflective treatment_ULTIMATE Surgery Kit

The drills are treated with anti-reflective marking.

The protocol for progressive homothetic drilling of the implant contour procures a primary stability distributed uniformly regardless of the final preparation diameter.

An optional system of removable depth stops, with direct contra-angle pickup, safeguards drilling depth near anatomical obstacles.
