In-Kone® WD

The In-Kone® WIDE platform implant system, our new implant alternative from Global D - Implantologie Bone Level.

The broad alternative: choosing resilience

IN-KONE® WD IMPLANT

In response to changes in clinical and prosthetic practices (machining of single-unit crowns, immediate treatment of posterior single-unit edentulous teeth, etc.) and changes in the patient population (younger and younger patients, increasing bruxism), Global D has expanded its In-Kone® range with a wider prosthetic platform, known as Wide (WD). This option makes it possible to respond to clinical cases requiring up to 60% greater mechanical strength, while preserving the original philosophy of the In-Kone® implant. These implants are particularly suitable for the rehabilitation of single and multiple posterior cases.

IN-KONE® IMPLANT SYSTEM PHILOSOPHY

A two-part implant fitted with an internal taper connection and a roughened chamfered subcortical shoulder. This positioning, combined with the ‘tulip-shaped’ profile of the prosthetic components, allows a progressive emergence profile to be developed for future prosthesis. The implants can be used in one or two surgical phases. Numerous healing screw formats allow the emergence profile to be shaped to match the biotype and diameter of the future tooth. The hexagon set into the apical part of the internal taper allows the prosthesis components to be repositioned in the mouth once customised by the laboratory. The anti-rotational property of the final components, once in place, is ensured by the ‘Morse’ effect via the interlocking of the male taper inside the female taper of 8° (2×4°).

UNIVERSAL PROFILE

The external profile of the In-Kone® WD implant is cylindro-conical and features a progressive double thread, enabling the achievement of primary stability through screw insertion.
The SA2 surface is obtained through sandblasting followed by double acid etching.

The In-Kone® WD implant is placed using the ULTIMATE surgical kit.

The drilling protocol is shared with In-Kone® ST (UNIVERSAL & PRIMO profiles), In-Kone® NR, and twinKon® implants.
