Customised Abutments

Titanium bases and blanks

To protect the prosthetic connection, Global D supplies prosthesis laboratory with parts such as titanium bases or blanks with connections machined by us while preparation of the customisable part is handled by the laboratory.

  • Single bases: these bases can be used by the laboratory to produce prostheses using conventional or digital techniques. Bases will be bonded extra-orally in the laboratory.
  • Pre-milled blank: block designed and manufactured by Global D allowing production in the laboratory of customised titanium abutments (subject to appropriate equipment).
  • Panthera Dental machines customised abutments in titanium and zirconia on titanium bases.

TITANIUM ABUTMENTS

Panthera Customised Abutments

Global D customised abutments are available in titanium for our EVL® and In-Kone® implants. The customised abutments are machined either by the prosthesis laboratory using titanium bases or pre-milled titanium blanks or by our official partner Panthera Dental. The prosthetic plan can be transferred to Panthera Dental either via a resin model sent with its master model to Quebec, or via an STL file designed and sent by the prosthesis laboratory. Digitisation will have been carried out beforehand using our digital copings

ZIRCONIA ABUTMENTS

The prosthesis laboratories can machine customised abutments in zirconia on titanium bases for our EVL® and In-Kone® implants. Customised abutments can also be machined by our official partner Panthera Dental using bases. The prosthetic plan can be transferred to Panthera Dental either via a resin model sent with its master model to Quebec, or via an STL file designed and sent by the prosthesis laboratory. Digitisation will have been carried out beforehand using our digital copings.
